Types of Leave Entitlements for University Employees
Leave Entitlements for Government Officials
Sick Leave: Up to 60 working days per year. In cases of necessity, an additional 60 working days may be granted, totaling 120 working days per year.
Maternity Leave: Entitled to 90 days per pregnancy with full salary during leave.
Paternity Leave: Entitled to up to 15 consecutive working days to assist a spouse during childbirth.
Personal Leave: Up to 45 working days per year. Additional personal leave for childcare may be taken immediately after maternity leave, up to 150 working days.
Annual Leave: Entitled to 10 working days per year. Employees who have served less than 6 months are not entitled to annual leave in that year. Employees with less than 10 years of service may accumulate up to 20 working days. Employees with 10 years or more of service may accumulate up to 30 days.
Ordination or Hajj Pilgrimage Leave: Up to 120 days, provided the employee has served for at least 12 months.
Military Service Leave: Granted as per official summons for conscription or military training.
Study, training, research, or observation leave: Granted for the duration of the program, with salary payments for up to 6 years, depending on the case.
Leave for Service in International Organizations: Granted based on government regulations, considered equivalent to full-time service, for up to 12 months.
Leave to Accompany a Spouse: Allowed for up to 2 years, with an extension of another 2 years if necessary, totaling 4 years. If exceeding 4 years, resignation is required.
Leave for Occupational Rehabilitation: Allowed as per the rehabilitation program’s duration, up to 12 months.
University Employees and Government Officials can submit leave requests through the CUERP-FIORI system at https://www.cuerpapp.chula.ac.th

- Select Leave Request > Leave Type > Fill in required details > Create > Submit
Visit the CUERP-Fiori system via: https://www.cuerpapp.chula.ac.th, select Leave Request > Entitlements
Visit the CUERP-Fiori system via: https://www.cuerpapp.chula.ac.th, select My Request > Clock symbol
Visit the CUERP-Fiori system via: https://www.cuerpapp.chula.ac.th, select My Request > If the request is “Waiting for approval”, select “Cancel”. If the request is approved, select “Withdrawn”.
Then, you can create and submit a new request.
