Honorary Recognition Awards for University Personnel

There are 3 awards (CUAST/ Outstanding Civil Servant / Khon Dee Sri Chula) 

1 National Outstanding Support Personnel CUAST (www.council-uast.com)

The Council of Civil Servants, Staff, and Employees of Thai Universities (CUAST) carries out the selection process for support staff in higher education institutions who possess knowledge, skills, and outstanding achievements. These individuals must have dedicated themselves to their work or created valuable contributions to the institution, society, and the nation in various areas. There are five categories for selection:Outstanding Service,Outstanding Administration,Outstanding Professionalism,Outstanding Innovation,Outstanding Employee 

The selected individuals will be honored and recognized as exemplary models for support personnel in higher education institutions. Awardees will receive the CUASTGold Pin along with a certificate at the PAKOM Academic Conference. Additionally, their achievements will be widely publicized through the PAKOM website at www.council-uast.com and other media channels. 

2. Outstanding Civil Servant (https://www.ops.go.th)

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, through the Committee for Civil Servant Day, will select civil servants and permanent employees for the purpose of honoring and recognizing them as Outstanding Civil Servants. They will receive a Distinguished Service Medal, a Certificate of Honor, and their biography will be recorded in the commemorative book for Civil Servant Day. The selection will be conducted in four categories as follows: 

Group 1: Executive positions at the basic and senior levels and academic positions at the expert level 

Group 2: Academic positions at the skilled and special skilled levels and General positions at the senior and special skill levels 

Group 3: Academic positions at the operational level and General positions at the operational and skilled work levels 

Group 4: Permanent employees 

3. Honorary Recognition Award for Operational Personnel “Khon Dee Sri Chula” (https://www.hrm.chula.ac.th/newhrm)

Chulalongkorn University organizes this award to honor and encourage operational personnel who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, commitment, dedication, self-sacrifice, and exemplary conduct in contributing to the university. These individuals are recognized for their valuable contributions to Chulalongkorn University, society, and the nation. The awards are intended to recognize and honor them as exemplary figures for future generations. The recipients will receive a medal of honor, a certificate of recognition, and a monetary reward, which will be divided into individual and group categories as follows: 

(a) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Mid-Level Management Group, category of Director of Department, Director of Division, or equivalent, consists of 1 award, with a monetary reward of 50,000 Baht, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. 

(b) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Junior-Level Management Group, category of Supervisor, Head of Task Group, or equivalent, consists of 2 awards, with a monetary reward of 30,000 Baht each, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. 

(c) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Operational and Professional Group working in various positions with a Bachelor’s degree or higher, consists of 14 awards, with a monetary reward of 20,000 Baht each, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. The awards are categorized as follows 

          1) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Operational Personnel in Research Positions consists of 2 awards, with a monetary reward of 20,000 Baht each, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. 

          2) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for other operational personnel positions (excluding research positions) consists of 12 awards, with a monetary reward of 20,000 Baht each, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. The awards are categorized as follows: 

                    (a) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for operational personnel with 3 or more years of service consists of 10 awards, each with a monetary reward of 20,000 Baht, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. 

                    (b) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for operational personnel with 1 to 3 years of service consists of 2 awards, each with a monetary reward of 20,000 Baht, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. 

(d) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for operational and professional personnel working in various positions with a below Bachelor’s degree consists of 5 awards, each with a monetary reward of 10,000 Baht, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. 

(e) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for service personnel consists of 5 awards, each with a monetary reward of 10,000 Baht, along with a medal of honor and a certificate of recognition. 

(2) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Outstanding Personnel Group is categorized as follows: 

(a) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Large Outstanding Personnel Group consists of 1 award, with a prize valued at up to 50,000 Baht, distributed equally among the department or unit, along with a certificate of recognition. 

(b) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Medium-Sized Outstanding Personnel Group consists of 2 awards, with a monetary reward of 30,000 Baht each, along with a certificate of recognition. 

(c) The Outstanding Operational Personnel Award “Khon Dee Sri Chula” for the Small Outstanding Personnel Group consists of 3 awards, with a monetary reward of 20,000 Baht each, along with a certificate of recognition.
