Housing loan

The housing loan welfare program supports the financing of: Construction of new buildings Purchase of land with buildings or condominiums Replacement of deteriorated buildings Mortgage redemption for land with buildings or condominiums Renovation or repair of the first residential property 

Eligible Applicants 

  • Government Officials 
  • Permanent Employees (Funded by Government Budget) 
  • Permanent Employees (Funded by Non-Government Budget) 
  • University Staff (Funded by Revenue Budget or Subsidy Budget) 

Note: University staff must have at least three consecutive years of service. Special contract employees and enterprise employees are not eligible.

For the purpose of constructing a building, purchasing land with a building or condominium, replacing a severely deteriorated building, redeeming a mortgage on land with a building or condominium, or renovating or modifying one's first residence. 

No, as this benefit is intended for loans to construct a building, purchase land with a building or condominium, or redeem a mortgage on land, a building, or a condominium that serves as the borrower's first residence

The housing loan benefit is available for properties located in areas designated by the university, including Bangkok, its metropolitan region, and five additional provinces: Saraburi, Nan, Chiang Mai, Chonburi, and Pattani. 

Siblings are not eligible for joint housing loans. 
Only spouses who are both employed by the university may apply for a joint loan. 

The loan amount shall not exceed 100% of the appraised value, which is compared with the market price and the valuation by the Land Office. However, the maximum loan amount is limited to 3,000,000 THB (three million baht) or the remaining debt with other financial institutions, whichever is lower. 

The entitlement to the housing loan benefit shall be terminated in accordance with the regulations, and the personnel must settle any outstanding balance with the university within 30 days from the date of termination of employment. 

A building permit or proof of application for a permit, along with the construction contract and architectural plans (in the case of house construction). 

The repayment period must be completed within 20 years; however, it must not exceed the borrower's retirement age. 

It is not allowed, as the ownership is still mortgaged with a financial institution, making it ineligible for a renovation loan. 

At least 60 installments are required.
