Programs and Other IT Services for Chulalongkorn University Staff

  • The VPN service is available to faculty, staff, and students of Chulalongkorn University, allowing them to access university network services remotely (e.g., via ADSL internet) as if they were on campus. This service facilitates access to research databases, file sharing, print servers, and internal university servers. 
  • Users must log in with their CUNET username and password. 
  • Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based productivity service providing various tools for work, including document management, collaboration, virtual meetings, and more. The key services include, 
  • SharePoint Online: Online organizational data management service. 
  • OneDrive for Business: File sharing and online document access. 
  • Teams: Collaboration and communication platform for organizations. 
  • Office Online: Web-based document editing suite. 
  • Google Workspace for Education is an alternative digital workspace for students and staff, offering various tools for document management, virtual meetings, data storage, and more. The key services include: 
  • Classroom: A platform for managing assignments and coursework. 
  • Docs, Sheets, Slides: Online document creation tools. 
  • Drive: File sharing and cloud storage service. 
  • Sites: Website creation tool. 
  • The email service is not available for sending or receiving emails.

  • Zoom is an online platform for teaching, learning, and meetings.  
  • Unlimited meeting duration, supports up to 300 participants 
  • Cloud storage for recorded meetings, retained for 90 days 
  • Eligibility: 
    •  Full-time faculty members: Granted access automatically. 
    • Adjunct faculty and administrative staff: Must request access via their respective departments by submitting a formal request to the Office of IT Administration, specifying their @Chula.ac.th email. Alternatively, they may borrow a license via the software borrowing system. 
  • Chulalongkorn University faculty, staff, and students have access to Foxit PDF Editor for editing PDF documents, modifying text, rearranging pages, merging or splitting files, adding digital signatures, and utilizing AI-assisted document tools. 
  • Faculty and staff can use the software without the need for a request. 
  • Adobe Software is available for creating various multimedia content. Users can access the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, which includes applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and more. 
  • Each borrowing session lasts 7 days, with no limit on the number of renewals. 
  • Access to the software will be available 40 minutes after borrowing or upon receiving an email from Adobe.
