CU HR e-Learning

The lessons related to work tasks can be learned through electronic devices such as computers, laptops, tablets, or smartphones, without being limited by location and time, as long as there is an internet connection.

Recommended Lessons

  1. Introduction to Organizational Structure: 
    Introducing the structure of Chulalongkorn University, including core competencies, organizational structure, management structure, and the main missions of each department.

  2. Welfare and Benefits:
    Information about welfare and benefits for personnel, including financial, health, social well-being, family, leave rights, as well as rewards and quality of life improvement programs after retirement.

  3. Assignment Sheet:
    Understanding how to create Assignment Sheets and write them correctly, along with all relevant steps.

  4. Employee Performance Evaluation:
    The setting of criteria, steps, and methods for performance evaluation, including work probation, annual performance evaluations, and contract renewal evaluations.

  5. CU-Lesspaper Electronic Document Management System:
    Overview of the system, how to use it, create outgoing and incoming letters, review and sign documents, search for documents, tips, and basic knowledge.

  6. University Resource Management System (CUERP-FIORI):
    Overview of the system and usage instructions, including:
    • Viewing, requesting modifications, and canceling requests for personal data changes, such as contact information, address, family details, education, royal decorations, ID number, contracts, position history, and date-related information.

    • Personnel data search.

    • Issuance of certification letters, personnel expense statements, and salary/wage adjustment notifications.

    • Creating leave requests, canceling leave days, and withdrawing leave requests.

    • Leave approval and viewing leave approval reports.

    • Team calendar.

    • Group insurance (plan types: personnel, spouse, father, mother, and children).

    • Monitoring and preparing for contract renewal evaluations.

  7. CUERP Installation and Usage [S/4 HANA (SAP GUI) and Fiori]:
    Introduction to the CUERP system and how to install SAP GUI on a computer and Fiori application on mobile devices (self-installation), as well as how to access CUERP Fiori via Google Chrome and change passwords.

  8. Threats and Security Awareness:
    Raise awareness on the importance of data security and understanding types of threats to better protect oneself.

  9. Understanding the Computer Crime Act:
    Raise awareness about the importance of the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2560 (2017) and promote ethical conduct and legal compliance in the digital world.

  10. Defining Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Expert Positions:
    Ensuring that university staff in operational roles understand how to define the steps and processes for setting positions at basic, intermediate, and advanced expert levels correctly.

  11. Applying for Academic Positions:
    Help faculty members and researchers learn and study the procedures and processes for applying for academic positions, including the following categories:
    • Faculty (government officials). 
    • Faculty (university employee). 
    • Researchers. 
    • Foreign language instructors. 
  1. Recruitment and Appointment of University Staff:
    Ensure personnel understand regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines for efficient, standardized, and effective operation in line with governance principles.

  2. Direct Payment Transfer to Vendors:
    Introduce the steps to transfer payments to vendors using the “SCB Business Net” system, including Direct Credit and Media Clearing, creating a Text File for upload, generating GL reports, and making payment receipts for transferring funds through Baht Net.

  3. Travel Expense Reimbursement:
    Help staff preparing for domestic and international travel understand how to prepare the necessary documentation for expense reimbursement, following rules, regulations, and procedures for smooth processing by the finance department.

  4. Using University Credit Cards:
    Guide on using credit cards, including permanent and temporary credit limits, how to calculate credit limits for departments, usage rules, and responsibilities.

  5. Specific Procurement Process under Section 56 (2) (ข):
    Explain the steps for procurement under a specific method as per the Public Procurement and Supplies Management Act, B.E. 2560 (2017), including related regulations, ministerial decrees, and circulars.

  6. Library Search: Easy Access to Everything
    Learn how to use standard academic information retrieval tools like Library Search (EDS), OPAC catalog, and CUIR database. Includes techniques for keyword selection, necessary tools/features, full-text searching, citation tools like EndNote, and result submission options like printing, emailing, downloading, or sharing.

  7. Dean’s Manual
    Introduce the role and duties of a dean in areas such as academics, student development, human resources management, resource management, and communication of university missions.

  8. Strategic Human Resource Management
    Introduce components of human resource management that generate results and guide the development of policies aligned with the organizational context, such as HR goals, stakeholders, strategic planning, and policy implementation.

  9. CUERP Fiori for Executives
    Overview of the system and usage, divided into three parts:
    1. Approval tasks on Fiori (Approver) system, such as managing personal codes, approval workflows, procurement document approvals, payment request approvals, leave approvals, and related reports. 
    2. Usage of management reports, such as Analytic Report Overview, SAP Smart Business Drilldown, etc.
