1. ช.พ.ค. refers to the Funeral Welfare Assistance for Teachers and Educational Personnel. 
2. ช.พ.ส. refers to the Funeral Welfare Assistance for Teachers and Educational Personnel in the event of the spouse's death. 

1. Qualifications for ช.พ.ค. Membership 
   Applicants must be no older than 35 years old on the date of application and must hold a position or perform duties within the Ministry of Education, including: 
   (1) Teachers 
   (2) Faculty members 
   (3) School administrators 
   (4) Educational administrators 
   (5) Other educational personnel 
   (6) Education-related workers 
   (7) Members of the Teachers' Council of Thailand (who became members before June 12, 2003) 
2. Qualifications for ช.พ.ส. Membership 
   Applicants must be no older than 35 years old and must be the legally married spouse of a person holding a position or performing duties within the Ministry of Education. 

Applications can be submitted in person at the Office of the Welfare Promotion for Teachers and Educational Personnel (OTEP), Ministry of Education. 

The funeral aid contribution is 1 Baht per deceased member. Members are required to contribute to the heirs of deceased fellow members every month. The contribution can be made through three methods: 

1. Payroll deduction (if the member's organization has a payroll deduction system). 

1. Self-payment (if the member's organization does not have a payroll deduction system). 
2. Bank account deduction via Krungthai Bank (if the member's organization does not have a payroll deduction system). 

Designation of Beneficiaries for Members of Ch.P.K. 

1. Legal spouse, legitimate children, adopted children, illegitimate children legally recognized by the father, and parents of the Ch.P.K. member. 
2. Individuals under the care of the Ch.P.K. member as children. 
3. Guardians or caretakers of the Ch.P.K. member. 

Designation of Beneficiaries for Members of Ch.P.S. 

1. Spouse of the Ch.P.S. member as stated in the application form. 
2. Children of the Ch.P.S. member and children of the spouse of the Ch.P.S. member, including adopted children. 
3. Parents of the Ch.P.S. member and parents of the spouse of the Ch.P.S. member. 
4. Individuals under the care of the Ch.P.S. member as children, as well as individuals under the care of the spouse of the Ch.P.S. member as children. 
5. Guardians or caretakers of the Ch.P.S. member. 

Benefits for Eligible Beneficiaries of Ch.P.K. Members 

1. Funeral expense allowance of 200,000 THB. 
2. Family welfare support of approximately 700,000 THB. 

Benefits for Eligible Beneficiaries of Ch.P.S. Members 

1. Funeral expense allowance of 100,000 THB. 
2. Family welfare support of approximately 270,000 THB. 

1. In cases where there is no loan, the payment will be received approximately three months after the announcement of the deceased member's name. 
2. In cases where there is an outstanding loan with the bank, the payment will be received after the bank has verified the account closure. 

1. For members receiving a pension or monthly gratuity: The organization will deduct the amount from the pension and remit it to the Office of the Welfare Promotion for Teachers and Educational Personnel (OTEP), Ministry of Education. 
2. For members who do not receive a pension or monthly gratuity: The payment must be made through automatic deduction from Krung Thai Bank or paid directly at the OTEP office, Ministry of Education. 

1. Submit the resignation form along with the required documents in person at the OTEP office in your respective province. 
2. The member must have fully paid the funeral welfare contributions up to date. 
3. To resign from Ch.P.K. – Ch.P.S., the member must not have any outstanding loan obligations under the Ch.P.K. – Ch.P.S. welfare loan program, except in cases where the loan has been fully repaid. 
4. The member will receive a refund of the advance funeral welfare contributions.
