Equal Care Benefits

Equal Care Benefits

To promote equal rights and benefits, covering healthcare needs appropriate to all genders and age groups with flexibility, this benefit aims to support the health promotion and well-being of personnel, alongside wellness in all dimensions.

Eligibility for Equal Care Benefit

  • University employees (Revenue/subsidized category) and security staff
  • Have been working at Chulalongkorn University in the position of university employee or security staff for at least 1 year as of 1 October of the relevant fiscal year
  • Have not used child education–related benefits, namely:
    • Child Education Subsidy Benefit for Personnel
    • Personnel’s Educational Benefits of Their Children’s Enrollment at Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School

Frequently Asked Questions

Personnel who are eligible for Equal Care Benefit include:

  • University employees (Revenue/subsidized category) and security staff
    • Have been working at Chulalongkorn University in the position of university employee or security staff for at least 1 year as of 1 October of the relevant fiscal year
    • Have not used child education–related benefits, namely:
      • Child Education Subsidy Benefit for Personnel
      • Personnel’s Educational Benefits of Their Children’s Enrollment at Chulalongkorn University Demonstration School
  • Length of service 1 year or more but less than 3 years: 3,000 Baht
  • Length of service 3 years or more: 6,000 Baht
  • Length of service is calculated from the date of appointment as a university employee or security staff until 1 October of the relevant fiscal year
  • Length of service as a temporary employee is omitted.

Immediate family members include father, mother, spouse, and legitimate children, but do not include adopted children.

Claims can be submitted from February to September 2026 via the Personnel Self-Service System (CUERP – Fiori).

Equal Care Benefit can be claimed for 10 items, as follows:

  • For Personnel
    • Medical equipment for treatment/disease prevention
    • Physical therapy expenses
    • Annual health check-up
    • Vaccination expenses for disease prevention
    • Psychological counseling
    • Health promotion and rehabilitation
  • For Personnel and Immediate Family
    • Health insurance premiums for family members
    • Accident insurance premiums for family members
    • Dental treatment expenses
    • Medical treatment expenses

Claims can be submitted from February to September 2026

  • Original receipt bearing the seller’s tax identification number, specifying the personnel’s, or personnel’s immediate family name as a payee, dated between 8 November 2025 – 30 September 2026
  • Medical certificate (in the case of medical treatment claims)

No. This is because they do not meet the eligibility criteria under the Chulalongkorn University Regulation on Criteria and Procedures for Providing Equal Care Benefit and Flexible Benefits B.E. 2568, Clause 4 (1)

  • Once a claim has been submitted and approved in a fiscal year, Child Education Benefits cannot be used in that fiscal year.
  • They may use Child Education Benefit in the following fiscal year.
  • The University Employee must submit a memorandum requesting a change in benefit entitlement to the Office of Human Resources Management.
  • The staff will update the benefit entitlement in the system and notify the University Employee of the result via email.
  • If both University Employees use Child Education Benefits in the same fiscal year:
    • Neither will be entitled to Equal Care Benefit.
  • If only one University Employee uses Child Education Benefits in the same fiscal year:
    • The person using Child Education Benefits will not be entitled to Equal Care Benefit.
    • The person not using Child Education Benefits will be entitled to Equal Care Benefit.
  • If neither of the University Employees uses Child Education Benefits in the same fiscal year:
    • Both will be entitled to Equal Care Benefit
